i think that’s a dumb answer. they’ll only think that if you don’t talk to them about the issue when the time comes. and if you don’t make sure that they know they can go to you for anything. no matter how heart broken you’ll be about it or how small of an issue it may be. children are very impressionable, but it’s just like teaching your child to stay away from the oven and not jump on the couch. you need them to know it isn’t the best thing to do to themselves.
